about

Hailing from Canada's capitol city Ottawa, the Million Dollar Marxists tap into a sound born out of the same back alleys that spawned the Stooges and MC5 Detroit and New York sounds (Dictators, NY Dolls), which Ottawa is geographically between, with a strong nod to the Midwest (Pagans, New Bomb Turks) thrown in for good measure. After the band broke up, members went on to record with White Wires
